I’m going to talk about different Merry Christmas culture between Japan and another country.
First in Japan, Many people Japanese want to spend Christmas with boyfriend or girlfriend. and eat KFC, Christmascake. But another country has different culture at each country. For example in America is spend with family. and eat turkey. Don’t eating cake. American’s Christmas sweets is cookie! Next in Germany is eat stolen. and hold a Christmas market In Christmas. Next Australia is also spend with family. But Australian thougth Santa Claus coming ride the surfing. Because season is midsummer in Australia. They are eat BBQ. Their Christmas paty do at the outside or pool or beach. Next in the Philippines, Christmas is the most important day for Philippine. Because 80% of the Philippine is Chirstian so they are celebrate Jesus Christ birthday much. and they are go to the Church, to participation “Simbang Gabi” with family. this is mass. They are cherishes spend time with family. Next in Czech is also spend with family. not existence Santa Claus. in December 6, coming to Micholas with take an angel and devil. This is like a Namahage. Good Child can get a present from angel but, Bad Child is not present, They give a charcoal or potato from devil.
There is also country doesn’t have Christmas day. This is Saudi Arabia. Christmas is special day that celebrate Jesus Christ birthday for Christian. But most of the Saudi Arabian is Islam, they don’t celebrate another religion. It is Islam’s principles. so Saudi Arabia is not existence Christmas.
Incidentally, This year’s my Christmas plan is Girls party and I’m going to the UNIVERSAL STUDIO JAPAN and sightseeing in Osaka. I’m going to go to Kaiyuukan. This is aquarium. This is one of the biggest size in the world. I’m so excited! Can’t wait! hahaha
